I n s t a l l s
   Shawn's 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX
This is my 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX.

This car has the 4.6L -281 CID V8 with Multi-port Fuel Injection.

No option was spared when this car was manufactured, save for one:

An incredible audio system.

The Goal of this install was geared towards Sound Quality alone.

SPL was not considered a priority, or much less remotely thought of.

This install also had to be something different, that one doesnt see all of the time in every car with a system.
No motorization or over-use of colored fiberglass, just a straitforward system that can produce without all the hype. My inspiration came from a friend who had tried this type of install in his own car, and was happy with the outcome.

The system also had to have incredible response, and clarity. This was primarily accomplished by means of the installation method.

While still in progress, have a look below at a not so ordinary installation.

The chosen victims, err, subwoofers.
Fusion Audio Encounter 12"
-HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!
Fusion Audio is still a bit of a new kid on the block, however, it doesnt show one bit. These subs are in a word- Awesome. Incredibly accurate, clear, and hard hitting!.      Very well constructed in a no frills fashion.  Most importantly- a great bang for the buck factor.
They are worth a listen if ever you have the chance.

The Sony CDX-M630 Head Unit. An amazing unit with a built in Dynamic Soundstage Organizer, EQ, and internal Corssover, etc, etc. A very versatile machine worth every penny!!!

Signal Passes from the Sony Head through a PPI DEQ-230 30 Band EQ and then to a Phoenix Gold R4.0:2  into to 2 Infinity Reference 65.2i Coaxials in custom pods within the lower doors; , then to a Phoenix Gold R8.0:1 Amplifier into 2 Fusion Audio Encounter 12" subs mounted in the rear deck.

This set-up has been very reliable and trouble free since install 3 months ago.

I would fully reccomend any of the components to anyone.

With all installs, this one will also be evolving over time.
